This is Shangri-La! Now running on the fantastic new Novalink 2.0!
This software is designed to run in the background using MultiFinder on the
Macintosh. The sysop no longer is required to have a "dedicated" computer, he can be doing something else on the computer while a user is on line and
downloading a file, or uploading one. To the user, this is completely
transparent and there is no change in the apparent speed.
The Sysop may also log on to the BBS and upload files locally while a user is on line doing anything at all, since the system is multi-user. The Sysop is on one node and the user is on the other. It works! I've done it.
Res Nova, Inc., creators of Novalink, promise a truly Mac-Like Graphics
user interface in the very near future, as well as all sorts of external
applications, like games, databases, etc.
